Yes, all estimates on products and inspections are free of charge.
What information should I have ready when I call or submit a quote request?
Besides name, number, and address, no information is mandatory to have at the time of scheduling an appointment for a quote.
Do you offer virtual estimates, or do you need to visit the property?
Custom Home Improvements insists on visiting the property to do an in-person inspection and product demo. This is to ensure that communication is proficient and to also prevent any future costs from accumulating. For unusual circumstances virtual appointments can be arranged.
How soon can you come out to give me a quote?
Usually, Custom Home Improvements can get a representative out to your home the very next day. Depending on circumstance, Custom Home Improvements can sometimes provide same day service to provide a quote.
Do you offer weekend or evening appointments for consultations?
On weekdays Custom Home Improvement representatives are available to visit you at your home as late as 7:00 P.M. On Saturdays, we offer consultation appointments form 9:00 A.M – 3:00 P.M.
Do I need to be home for the exterior inspection?
Yes, all homeowners should be home for an appointment.
What happens after I submit a quote request?
After you submit your quote request, that request automatically gets added to our schedule. One of our office personnel will contact you the day before the appointment is scheduled to verbally confirm that the date and time is correct.
Can I get quotes for multiple services at once (roof, siding, windows)?
Yes, there is no limit on the number of products you can get a quote for.
How long is my price quote valid for?
Quotes are valid until we receive a price increase up the supply chain from one of our manufacturers or distributors and we can no longer honor the price previously given.
Once I sign the proposal, how quickly can you typically get started?
Our install turnaround time is dependent on the product type and color, as well as the time of year.
Do you require a deposit upfront to schedule the work?
The only time Custom Home Improvement requires a down payment is if the customer is paying cash.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Custom Home Improvements accepts financing, checks, cash, credit cards, and money wires.
Can you work with my insurance company directly regarding the quote?
Yes, Custom Home Improvements can work directly with your insurance agency with the customer’s permission.
