I’m excited to be getting a new roof, trim and gutters. Mike has been very helpful with info and samples. Very informative, even answering my off the wall questions! Not the cheapest and not the most expensive but I am happy so far. Highly recommend

Custom Home Improvement was transparent through the entire roof upgrading process, from inspection to quote to scheduling to installation. Neil and his installation crew were on-site early, worked quickly, and took care to both walk me through everything they did and the clean-up process afterward. At no point did I feel pressured, and every question I had was answered without judgment. The new roof looks great, and I appreciate the peace of mind that gives me.

Custom home improvements has been nothing but blessing. From the working crew to the front office. I am currently on deployment so when I neede to get my roof done I was a little concerned. Rick, t and the crew took all my concerns away. Rick kept me informed on everything through pictures videos and texts while I’m away and at anytime of the day I was able to reach out to him he had nothing but positive energy and was very understanding of my military situation. It really took alot of worry off my plate with being away from home. The administrative lady Kimberly was a blessing as well with little access to internet she worked with me and my bank to get payments situated for the new roof I received. Not only that but she always had a vibrant personality while we were in conversation with one another. I would highly recommend this company. If they could provide me a sense of family and ease while on deployment; imagine what they would do if they had direct interaction with clientele on a day to day basis

From the initial consultation to the installation of my new front door, the entire experience was fantastic. Greg handled the initial consultation and got the ball rolling. Kimberly was great throughout the whole process, handling payments, keeping me updated, and making sure I always knew what was going on. Mark came out to take the measurements and made sure everything was right before the door was installed. Then came Chad and Dylan, who handled the actual installation. These two did an outstanding job! They paid attention to the little details, made sure everything was done right, and cleaned up the entire work area when they finished. You could tell they took pride in their work. What really stood out to me was how well everyone worked together. Each person had their part in the process, and everyone followed through. Communication was great, the workmanship was excellent, and the whole experience went about as smoothly as I could have hoped. It's not often you come across a company where everything just falls into place like that. Five stars, without hesitation. I wouldn't think twice about recommending Custom Home Improvement to anyone needing work done on their home. Thanks again to Greg, Kimberly, Mark, Chad, and Dylan. I had found out about the company when they were doing work on a neighbor's house. They had a very impressive set up and crew- there were lots of tools, machines, and people all working simultaneously, and they got the roof of that house replaced in one day. They had dropped by a door hanger to give us a heads up that there would be some noise and traffic from the work, and that it would be starting early (7am). I appreciated that, and started talking with one of the crew members as we needed our own roof replaced. He got us set up to speak with their sales specialist, Bill, the very next day. Bill explained every part of the roofing system, pointed out problem spots on our current roof, and offered us a price that was much better than anticipated. I also appreciated that he was informative and not pushing a product, and it was quite evident that he was proud of the company and what they stood for. Production Manager, Kimberly, was very helpful in getting our project scheduled and answering our questions in preparation for the work, and Project Manager Rick was super communicative about every step of the process on installation day. We received videos and pictures throughout installation day, showing us what was being done and what the old roof looked like as it was removed. He responded to every one of our text messages professionally and quickly. And he personally reviewed everything with us after project completion, to answer all of our questions and to ensure we were satisfied. I was also impressed with the timeline- from the day we talked to Bill and got the project initiated to installation, it was 3 weeks and 1 day. The new roof looks great, and the crew that worked on it were very efficient, professional, and very hard working. They also did a fantastic job cleaning up after- considering the amount of debris that came off the roof, I found very little in the yard after. We're now considering hiring them to replace our gutters, and they are now doing my mother-in-law's roof replacement next week. Long story short, Custom Home Improvement was fantastic to work with, and they are the best company that I've ever hired in the 15 years I've lived in Richmond. I will be glad to work with them again for our next home project!

I’m very happy with the quality and service of my roof replacement. Bill was a pleasure to work with up front during the sales process. Kimberley made it a breeze to get it scheduled quickly and Rick and the roofing crew completed the work professionally and quickly. Rick took the time to go over the process in the morning and sent me progress videos and text throughout the day showing the progress. The clean up was immaculate. If you’re looking for a good quality roof replacement, this is your company.
