    I had found out about the company when they were doing work on a neighbor's house. They had a very impressive set up and crew- there were lots of tools, machines, and people all working simultaneously, and they got the roof of that house replaced in one day. They had dropped by a door hanger to give us a heads up that there would be some noise and traffic from the work, and that it would be starting early (7am). I appreciated that, and started talking with one of the crew members as we needed our own roof replaced. He got us set up to speak with their sales specialist, Bill, the very next day. Bill explained every part of the roofing system, pointed out problem spots on our current roof, and offered us a price that was much better than anticipated. I also appreciated that he was informative and not pushing a product, and it was quite evident that he was proud of the company and what they stood for. Production Manager, Kimberly, was very helpful in getting our project scheduled and answering our questions in preparation for the work, and Project Manager Rick was super communicative about every step of the process on installation day. We received videos and pictures throughout installation day, showing us what was being done and what the old roof looked like as it was removed. He responded to every one of our text messages professionally and quickly. And he personally reviewed everything with us after project completion, to answer all of our questions and to ensure we were satisfied. I was also impressed with the timeline- from the day we talked to Bill and got the project initiated to installation, it was 3 weeks and 1 day. The new roof looks great, and the crew that worked on it were very efficient, professional, and very hard working. They also did a fantastic job cleaning up after- considering the amount of debris that came off the roof, I found very little in the yard after. We're now considering hiring them to replace our gutters, and they are now doing my mother-in-law's roof replacement next week. Long story short, Custom Home Improvement was fantastic to work with, and they are the best company that I've ever hired in the 15 years I've lived in Richmond. I will be glad to work with them again for our next home project!

    I’m very happy with the quality and service of my roof replacement. Bill was a pleasure to work with up front during the sales process. Kimberley made it a breeze to get it scheduled quickly and Rick and the roofing crew completed the work professionally and quickly. Rick took the time to go over the process in the morning and sent me progress videos and text throughout the day showing the progress. The clean up was immaculate. If you’re looking for a good quality roof replacement, this is your company.

    Great price on architectural shingles for a large, steep roof! Kimberly, Rick, Sebastian and crew are amazing at their job and a pleasure to work with. The crew worked their tales off on that steep roof and I am more than happy with the end product. They were very cautious to protect my surrounding landscape, deck, pool, and pool pump. Crew did an excellent job with cleanup also. No nails yard or driveway, which was a major concern of mine. Big thanks to Custom Home Improvement!

    Custom Home Improvement put new siding on our home this year, a beautiful job and we are very pleased. During the summer while my husband was seriously ill, I damaged the garage door.     Efrain and his crew did an amazing job replacing all of the columns on our front porch and adding all new railing. Our porch used to be sad and empty with rotting columns but now its clean and cozy! The team was professional and clean, they started around 7:30am and finished around 5:30pm. Very impressed!
