I was in a spot with a broken window, and remembered that thirteen years ago I had new windows, roof, and gutters installed. I dug up the old paper work found the number to Custom Home Improvement and gave them a call. I was greeted very politely and treated even better by everyone I spoke to. I found out that I had lifetime Warranty on the windows. Needless to say, the window was replaced and Moore and it was all a breeze. Thank you for the help and I wish all the best to everyone at custom home improvement. Also I have to give a big thank you to Mark for the help he gave, and for great positive Nature!

Superior service throughout. Bill did an extensive job explaining material options, benefits etc. Kimberly very helpful with scheduling, kept us updated with crew arrival times and called several times to make sure that everything was going smoothly. As job manager Rick explained what was going on including pictures and videos along the way. Crew very careful of protecting plants around the house and worked hard despite terrible heat. Cleanup immaculate. Could not be more pleased and strongly recommend.

Custom Home Improvements replaced the roof on my 1900 sq.ft home earlier this week. Everyone was lovely to work with. Demetrius came to my home to inspect my old roof, explain the installation, and help me choose the materials. He made a daunting process stress-free for me. Kimberly, the scheduling manager was on point with her texts and calls to thoroughly explain next steps and get me scheduled and then rescheduled due to the weather forecast of a thunderstorm.The communication and transparency throughout the process was impeccable. The installers arrived on time with smiles and worked seemingly non-stop to get my roof installed in about 12 hours flat. Rick the project manager buttoned up the project by making sure the work was complete and to my satisfaction. I pray I don't have to replace another roof in my lifetime but if I do, I'd definitely call Custom Home Improvements.

The process to change our roof was really fast and simple. Kimberly helped us schedule the job within the first week from signing the contract. Roofers were here very early and replaced the roof of our house and garage in a few hours. Neil kept us updated through the day with pictures and descriptions of the job. We are really satisfied with the experience. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

I had a fabulous experience with everyone at this company. I was able to get my estimate scheduled quickly and install as well. Neil was very informative on the day of install and showed me videos of what was being repairs. He also explained the updates to ventilation on my roof. The temperature difference in my home is remarkably lower after the install. I would definitely recommend again.

When they discovered rotten wood that needed to be replaced, Neil made sure I saw it and understood what was needed before moving forward. I truly appreciated the transparency and professionalism.The crew did a thorough job, and the cleanup was just as impressive. Discovered Custom Home Improvement & Repairs of Hampton Roads, while sitting at a traffic light one morning on my way home from working an overnight shift. After a weeks long search for a reputable local roofing company in HR our search ended. The signage on their work vehicle just grabs your attention, so I snapped a pic of one their work trucks and decided to give them a look. After some research of the company and reading countless reviews on & off their website, My wife and I were highly impressed, so we decided CHI&R was the company to replace our aged roof!This company is phenomenal! Greg came out to do the initial estimate inspection and was very thorough and informative. He made sure we completely understood every step of the process and provided samples of the materials to be used & answered all of our questions. Oh Yeah, he's completely hands on, too! He actually climbed on the roof and and inspected EVERYTHING & didn't just take photos from the ground. Once agreeing on the estimate, Kimberly kept my wife up to date with the schedule and what to expect over the next couple of weeks, she (Kimberly) was absolutely amazing. On the day of the roof replacement (Aug 24), Neil and his team showed up on time and ready to go. They did a spectacular job!!! We had a some damage to the wood from previous repairs on my roof and they replaced ALL necessary wood and collars on the vent pipes. Neil was a Top Notch Professional kept me in the loop and showed me everything they found before they made any repairs. After all work was completed, you couldn't even tell a roofing company was on my property. They took their time cleaning up and making sure any and all trash and debris was picked up, very respectfully ! It's been a few days now, I haven't found a nail in my yard : ) My wife and I are very pleased with the end result and CHI&R exceeded our expectations!!! Looks beautiful!!! We have used Custom Home Improvements four times now. They have installed a new roof, upgraded our front porch to an all vinyl solution for ease of maintenance, installed a new front door and now they have installed new windows. All of their work has been top notch. From Mark the service manager to Chad and his crew they have all been courteous, and professional. They explained the process and were very patient answering all of our questions. Each of our projects went according to plan and were completed on time, they cleaned up after themselves and there was no mess when the project was done. My wife and I have no complaints for any step in this process and we would highly recommend Custom Home improvements for any project you have for your home. Be sure to ask for Chad and his crew.
